The Nap Culture in Japan

Napping is not uncommon in Japan. Teachers would just nap during the time in the staff room. Even my students would nap during the class. It's a really weird aspect to the culture, right? That's why Japan is well known as being this hardworking place but also coincidentally or paradoxically, it's got quite low worker efficiency. Worker efficiency rates are pretty low compared to the US in particular. So yeah, people can nap, people can sleep and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
