The Effects of Trauma on Metabolic Health

Is there something about the trauma specifically that's actually activating some sort of response internally that's then impairing our metabolic health or do we know. We have pretty reasonable evidence that it's both both so everybody knows people stress eat like that's kind of common and yeah sure enough if you really stress an animal and they that animal including humans has access to highly palatable food that stressed animal is going to eat thathighly palatable food why probably it's a survival mechanism. If you're a highly stressed animal it means that you may not have access to food tomorrow or next week and so if there's some good food right in front of you you better eat it so time to store some fat because
