The Silk Road - The First Silk Road
China agreed to divide their dominions between settled farming lands and nomadic lands. And it seems that they agreed to this deal, which was generous, in a way, to the shung nu. But after a while, under the han, china developed better strategies and learned better how to fight more effectively against the shangnu. In response, the shongnu moved westward and south westward, out of their original homelands, down into shinjyang,. right into those western frontier areas west of china.
