What Are the Rules of War?
An army must not target civilians. Armies should attack other armies, soldiers or military facilities instead. Torture and the poor treatment of prisoners is also prohibited. If an enemy soldier is captured, they must be treated fairly and not abused. Certain weapons and tactics must also be limited to avoid too much suffering.
