God's Compassion Comes From Compassion
They felt sorrow, that's for sure, but it wasn't godly sorrow. They were devastated by destruction, but not so devastated that they've actually changed their ways. But verse 38, he god being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity anyway and destroyed them. And where does his compassion come from?
