When You're in Peace, It's a Position of Power

When i was 11 years old, my father committed suicide. He left my mother to raise four kids on her own. I developed this inability to trust people that i looked up to authority figures,. Because i felt that if i trusted thema, they would fail me. An thon i was an adult, i find that this is blocking me from filling my full potential. So my question for you is, how can i heal this unable to trust in order to fulfil my fullpotential?
