When astrand was working in the new york public school system, were you seeing kids that were identifying as transgender at that point? Not, not yet. But this really started coming for me, actually, in washington, and i remember noticing it maybe starting around 20 15. I also met a woman who, i think she called herself zzem. And my, my value set with with kids was always to express their own uniqueness, you know. So i, i did a lot of things round am, trying to really help them play,. You know, like all these things that we put on, they're just adornments," Astrand said.
