Defy the Night

The book came out in the midst of the global pandemic it came out last year, September of 2021. The actual initial inspiration for the book was scrolling through Facebook and a friend had shared a go fund me for a neighbor who was struggling to pay for cancer treatments. And I was thinking about what are the obligations of the people in power to help people get access to medicine like they do now during the pandemic.
