The Benefits of Preoperative Full Fox for Rectal Cancer Patients

Patients with rectal cancer who would have been candidates for sphincter sphering surgery, me and the type of surgery that retains the sphincters. The take-home point here is that those folks with this type of rectal cancer, preoperative full fox was not inferior to chemo radiation. If they did not shrink by at least 20% on the full fox arm in the knee leg of the chain, they did go on to get radiation.
