When you sleep, your brain cleans and washes itself. Being sleep deprived kills more people than alcohol related accidents. In 19 hundred on average, americans got nine hours of sleep at night. Now in two thousand 20, on average, they get about six hours and forty minutes of sleep. It's the culture we have that is damaging our sleep, which then damages our brain.
