Synchronization of the Motion of the Legs

Insects have a unique mechanism to synchronize the movement of its legs. The insect's nervous system can't talk to itself fast enough to make sure that the jump is on target. A lack of synchronization between the legs at launch could cause an uncontrolled, what they call yaw rotation. This emphasizes the importance of considering the properties of the skeleton in how movement is produced.
