Do You Really Know Where the Modification Really Works?

We started trying cloud seeding in 1946 but only recently have we been able to prove that it works. In the western U.S. they had very good observations and special research aircraft with radars and lidars so they could see how the cloud changes. They were able to follow the trail of their aerosols as it left the plane and as it entered the cloud. With all the extreme weather patterns that we're seeing the droughts and the floods the conversation around where the modification is likely to grow.
