Are Christians Supposed to Be Political?

I think there's really a danger that white evangelicals, for example, have fallen into in being so strongly identified with one political party. And especially am christians who are pentecostal carismatic, perhaps misinterpret the scripture that says we should be in the world, but not of it. But i think that there 's a long history of the black church playing an important political role. We have to stop thinking that to be involved in politics is only to bein d at the electoral level. That's a wonderful thing, and for those people doing that kind of work, that's wonderful. But the political work of the pulpit, thePolitical work of the pews,
