The Most Overlooked Step in Recovery Is Step Three
I think that the step people overlook the most is probably step three align your behavior. I talk about in my book this phrase called fake it till you become it, which is just stepping into the character of yourself until you embody and become that person. There is no substitute for hard work. You have to work on yourself work on your healing journey, but then you also need to take action. It reminds me of something in recovery, which is like, you can't think your way into feeling better. Like it's all about action.
