Niacin and NMN: A Precursor to NAD Plus

There's something like 50 or 60 registered clinical trials of NR where it's looking for activity, we're looking for activities in humans that were suggested from animal models. NAD comes under attack in a disease kidney and then heart failure and neurodegenerative processes. NMN is basically NR with a phosphate on it. It doesn't really make sense as an oral precursor because that phosphate has to come off before it goes into cells. But yeah, it's been popularized as a potential human supplement.
