Charlie and the other farmers he works with, they have a secret plan. They want to create a market in the US for fresh, blanched, and then frozen seaweed. Charlie told us he's buying a mobile squid processing unit from Korea. It'll move up and down the coast at harvest time. And what it does is it cuts kelps into different wits into like a noodle or slaw, etc.
