How to Calculate Maintenance Capex Over 10 to 20 Years
The way that things are depreciated often have nothing to do with how an asset actually breaks down. It might just be a 10 year depreciation cycle for a particular piece of machinery or whatever it is, a laptop or a camera. But in any circumstance, if you can get to the maintenance capex figure, then that's always going to be a better reflection than the accounting calculation.
