The Uncertainty of Ukraine's Bid for NATO Membership
Ukraine's President Zelensky is frustrated that no timetable has been given for NATO membership bid. The frustration will be directed at the home crowd, says Katia Kuznetsova. If Ukraine goes home with little more than what it had already been promised, "that's not a good look," she adds. But as soon as Ukraine becomes a member of NATO you've got that mutual defense clause, which would mean putting soldiers' lives on the line inside Ukraine to help defend them.
