The US Military Moves Away From Cluster Munitions in Battlefields

The last time the US used DPI CMs was in 2003. There was a single cluster strike in 2009 in Yemen that was recorded. The majority of people that were killed in that strike were documented to have been civilians. And it raises an important point where the US has not transferred cluster munitions to other countries, even as they've requested them.
