Microsoft owns a big chunk of the console market, which is like a ripe opportunity for some monopoly action. I think an entirely reasonable stance to take to say once you've decided to get into the console business then that basically should preclude you from being in the video game business at all. It would be like spotify buying a record label or something like that. Will she be successful? Maybe not.
