The Importance of Experimenting
When you experiment, oftentimes what you'll find is only about 15% of them are positive in terms of the metric you're measuring. And then a good 50 to sometimes 60% are actually negative is detracting. This is measured by an experiment that you let run long enough that it becomes statistically significant. Etsy has a really rich culture of measurement. They've just been sort of leaders in this observability over now, almost two decades. It's important because not only does it produce positive results for the company,. Ultimately, we're benefiting those.
