Franchising the DPC Model
The D and DPC stands for direct, meaning you and your doctor, period. Franchising her model implies there's an overarching business that those doctors then are either employed or maybe fractional ownership of that business. So it's kind of like false advertising, in my opinion. There's a number of wrinkles. It's one of those things that seems kind of obvious on the surface but when you dig into it, you've got to handle it a certain way or it won't work.
