William Gibson's sci-fi has had the biggest impact on my thinking about the future. The richest people in the world are going off to build vast virtual communities where they want us to buy digital goods and you know just stay home all the time, he says. This then relates back for me to Doug Rushkason's new book "The Jackpot" which came out 10 years ago again.
