The Consolidation of the Medical System

In my city, and I don't think this is unique to my city. Everything is consolidated under the hospital. There's a pediatrician in my neighborhood who just has her own little practice that she runs. It seems like any sort of federal system would just further that consolidation into large hospitals. And doctors should have to wear suits and carry a satchel and go make house visits. Well, if that's what you want nowadays, you can pay for that.
