Sound Design for the Spotting Session

Each department is responsible for a different category of sound design. From heard effects to folly, the components that the characters in the scenes enteract with. Loop roups are voice actors who fill in for the people miming in the background of each shot. After the scene is filmed, the loop group goes into the studio and records all that background chatter - then it's mixed back into the scene.
