Is Russia Doing Better Than People Thought?

The IMF upgraded Russia's outlook for this year to say it's going to put in a 0.3% growth, which will be better than Germany. The West seized $300 billion of central bank money at the right at the beginning, which was a real shock. In 2021, Russia had a current account surplus of $120 billion; that was an all-time high on the back of tensions and oil prices or post-COVID rebats.
