What Is Psychogenic Pain?
Psychogenic pain occurs without any particular clear observable tissue damage either to the nervous system or to any other part of the body. This type of psychogenic pain often is stigmatized because there's an idea that the pain is sort of not real. But although the tissue damage might not be real, that doesn't mean the pain isn't real. You can have pain without no seoception and you can have no seoceptions without pain as we'll get to a bit later.
