The Religious Right Now Plays a Strange Role

Seymour: If it has any negative effect, it's apt to have a large effect even under the control of the United States Senate. But surely, the most stunning fact about this is that if it has a small effect, that would be all the effect it has. And that tells us much the strange role that the religious right now plays.
