How Do You Write Dark Humor?

I think that's something that excited you from the beginning of this project, but how did you kind of approach writing it? How did you feel like you got the right tone when you were going for that dark humor? Yeah, I had never written humor before and I had no idea how to do it. So what I did was I watched several movies. And then I also went and purchased books on how to write satire or how to write jokes,. which I am not a joke teller, but I did.
