The Distraction of Politics

I think the peripheral stuff has the facade of the sophisticated man caring about the state of the world. It is in actuality, distraction from pain, yes, and distraction from duty. The most spiky religious types I've met are actually Anglicans. We don't have that neighborhood experience. Waco's a little more spread out, but through our church, we do have a good Catholic community.
