Biofuels - The Silver Bolt Solution?
There is absolutely greenwashing going on when you talk about biofuels. Source conversion use versus source use seems like a more direct route. The fundamental problem is thermodynamics processing electricity into a liquid fuel will always be less efficient than just using that electricity directly. Why take carbon from the atmosphere just to put it right back when you can use a fuel with no carbon emissions?
