Introduction

Moktenov Konbert was the previous chair and professor of the Center for Nanoscience and Engineering. He is currently the Dean, Division of Interdisciplinary Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science, Bank. As a device engineer in Motorola, US's Advanced Products R&D Lab, he has gotten his hands dirty in the industry as well. Dr. Burt was also a member of the committee set up by the principal scientific advisor with the Government of India to recommend strategies to develop the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem in India.
