I Ye, I Feel Lucky
i was fortunate to be encouraged in my inquiring rather than discouraged. My family's very religious, but they encouraged us to argue and question everything. And a, i ye, i feel fortunate. In some ways, you know, professional philosophy sometimes is not that philosophical, because it becomes a grind. It becomes like anything else. I found myself in the space of what am i doing here? Whyi i might as well be at a bank.
