The Challenges of Programming Certification

In the programming world, it's very rare once you've been spent any time in the industry that folks ask what is your degree and where did you get it from. You can still be a terrible programmer and have a four year degree in it, or you could be amazing. I feel like, and people are willing to lie. And so it's just such a cop out to say, well, what we're going to do is just asking him about these really easy low level stuff that it's easy to do.
