The World Economy After the War
The United States joins the Allies in 1917. They create these effectively these inter-government institutions to control the global exchange of resources among them. Energy resources like coal, food, stuffs like wheat, raw materials like nitrates that are crucial for the manufacture of explosives and a whole host of other goods. The most ambitious version of these blueprints are opposed by the United States and the British.
