How to Structure a Deal Base for Startup Investing

Janif: I'll just quickly touch on the deal structure in terms of investing startups, and then maybe quickly comment on the LPside too. As far as startup investing goes, there's been a lot of talk about valuations these days being very rich. So, for us, it's all about the end game, generally. If we have an argument on valuation, my capital is coming up first, so I'm preferred equity generally. Janif: For the right kind of investors, you know, in our firm, we'd be willing to offer those kinds of privileges and including co-investment rights and so forth.
