I'm a Perfectly Good Grandparent, I Skiped My Grandmother Every Week

The older people in the room took this, especially my response to it, as a kind of indictment of sorts. They assumed all the non verbal posture that we've all come to recognize as defensive and so on. And they had no intention of afflicted cause they were seeking a way out of their own affliction, you see. But i'd like to point out something beyond the obvious poverties of the responses that evening. Nobody that entire evening, in a discussion about elderhood, ever talked about being a grandparent. I say this with no derision, ok?
