The Final Nail in Paul Flores' Coffin

Paul Flores and his father Ruben were charged with murder in the 1996 death of Kristen Smart. They pleaded not guilty, but a joint trial commenced on July 18, 2022. An old appointance of Paul's named Jennifer Hudson took the stand to testify against him. She claimed that back in 1996, she was skateboarding in a friend's house with Paul when a public service announcement came on the radio. It was asking for details about Kristen Smart's case. In October 2022, the respective juries deliberated on Paul and Ruben's cases. On March 10, 2023, Paul Flores was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
