The Impact of Export Bans on Corn Prices
There's been several countries enacting export bans for all kinds of food supplies over the last year. Russia just enacted a partial ban on grain exports last month, and that will continue through at least June 30th. Most of the countries with restrictions still in place are typically smaller exporters of crops. They're coming up short because of large exporters like Russia and Ukraine not getting their usual share of supplies out to the world.
