The Prostate Is Deep, Right?

In 1904 at Johns Hopkins, the first radical prostatectomy for cancer was performed by the chair there. It wasn't a very good cancer operation because it had to do with exposure. The prostate is very deep in the pelvis and hard to access from above or below. And so that operation had been, was being performed and it was considered to be safe.
