Nordstream two has been a centre piece of the diplomatic discussion around deterrence and what europe needs to do to stand up to ussia. The government under olaf scholtzes has very recently declared that it won't certify the pipe line, and therefore it won't be operable. I don't think this will have a huge impact on energy markets right now. But the long term picture for pricesit is basically being confirmed as very different t to what it would have been even a few weeks ago.

The controversial Nord Stream 2 pipeline company that was to bring Russian gas to Europe is reportedly insolvent, China has signalled it is ready to play a role in finding a ceasefire, and crypto exchanges are under pressure to block transactions with Russia as western politicians fear that cryptocurrencies will undermine the effectiveness of financial sanctions.
