The Pain Over the Memories Is Over, but the Effects of Abuse Are Still With Me
This is a shame and secret survey filled out by a woman who calls herself finally free she is in her sixties. She identifies as straight. I was raised into, she says, a pretty disfunctional environment. I was the victim of sexual abuse and never reported it. When i was forty six, i was alone with my father for a day and a night at bedtime. From that night onwards, memories re surfaced. The pain over the memories is gone, but the effects of abuse are still with me.
