The Argument Against Strong AI Strong Artificial Intelligence

The Chinese argument is illustrating an argument against strong AI strong artificial intelligence. The computer can never learn Chinese or it can never learn what it's doing It's just following a system of if this then that statements and there's no understanding or meaning going on in the computer itself. So are you convinced by this argument? How does that make you feel? In a later episode we will talk about what this ledger is Is it a bunch of if then statements because that would be a first-order logical system? But we'll go into that more at this later date.
