Samuel Chapter Three
Hannah has a son, and his name is samuel. She commits him to the course and intention of god. In those days, the word of the lord was rare. There were not many visions. Samuel doesn't even know god yet, but his heart is postured in such a way that god speaks. He hears god's voice, but he doesn't know it's god. And so he goes to eli, the priestand ad he thinks that he's being called. But eli says, i'm not calling you. Go back to bed.
