The Importance of Cycling in Western China

China has a dedicated cycle network down the west coast and they have every campground. They have like a hiker biker area and most of them have electrical outlets. It's hugely popular, that's where I met most of the cyclists on this trip anyway. So you have to go through checkpoints, you get a lot of questions. But again, if you're fortunate enough to speak some Chinese, the guards are like, Oh, cool.
