Moon quakes are known to be far, far weaker than earthquakes by an enormous factor. They're often caused by asteroid impacts or some minor settling of the moon. I don't think they're any danger at all. One of the first things we'll do on the moon is put down seismometers in various places. We want to measure the shaking of the moon because that's basically a gigantic gravity wave detector.
