Daniel's Touch in the Temple of the Lord
In the visions of these chapters, there are a number of references to empires that are brought low without receiving any aid. Daniel has already been spoken to and touched in order to raise him up. His lips are touched in verse 16, but he is still weak and overcome. We should likely see in daniel's experience here, the touching and raising up of him, some reference to the experience of israel itself.
