Freud's Discourse on Hysterics

Catherine: Freud at his most generous, which he can be as well would agree with what you said about the hysterics discourse. If psychoanalysis was built on the backs of the proletariat, that would be the hysterics that Freud brought into the clinic. I have a lot of smaller projects going on right now and then my big dissertation, which I'm planning to be done within one year. The long and short of that is that I'm looking at the dialect of the space and the spatiality of the dialectic reading Hegel's encyclopedia. And so I'm trying to rethink space really as the ground of indifference from which at least a weight difference, and how that works.
