How to Talk to a Product Manager

I think it's just understanding when you need to talk to legal. We have open office hours with our legal department. And generally from small things I wouldn't go to them. But if I have any sort of hint that I need totalk to legal I will sign up for the office hours and we'll talk. So then I'll understand more and more about what requires a legal component. It's really just pattern matching and understanding.
