The Importance of Free Access to Video Games
"The argument that was successfully made is that if libraries provided free access to video games remotely, no one would buy video games ever again," he says. "If you're going to not understand the importance of that, then just let start making Nintendo stop releasing Super Mario World for the 10th time for $5." He adds: "This country is founded on commercialism and capitalism... And if you want to argue that it's not preservation based off of theirs, fine, great".
